Rock Of Ages Rocked Out At 106.7 LITE FM's Broadway In Bryant Park Last Week

You heard right folks! Constantine is back! *Cue every screaming thespian who has had the opportunity to see him perform.* I got to see him perform as Drew way back when the show first opened, so this truly is a treat.

I must say, this cast is TO DIE FOR! I love 'em, and I'm a 'well the original cast was better because....'

Check out this super rad interview that PRTC had the gnarly opportunity to conduct last week at Broadway In Bryant Park.

If you haven't yet, gear toward the park this coming Thursday, the last BIBP of the season!

Matilda, On The Town, Mamma Mia! and MOTOWN will be performing!

Describe the show in one word
Constantine: Fun
Josephine Rose Roberts: Amazing
Katie Webber: Loud [Laughter]

Favorite song to perform
Constantine: Probably the Heaven medley. It's a great moment in the show. We really see Drew and Sherry's characters coming together. We see the potential. And we see that love is maybe greater than Rock and Roll at the end of the day.
Josephine Rose Roberts: Harden My Heart/Shadows of The Night for sure
Katie WebberProbably Don't Stop Believing

Describe your character in one word
Constantine: Affable.
Josephine Rose Roberts: Feisty
Katie WebberBitch [Laughter]

What has been your favorite memory with the cast since joining the show?
Constantine: Oh my gosh, there have been so many from performing on the Tony's to the Tonight Show, and touring all across the country, being a part of the film, so there's a long list of stuff. It's a tremendous thing to be part of. It's a dream really to just create a role on Broadway and be able to see it become a global sensation. Nearly six years later on Broadway and beyond, it's pretty awesome stuff.
Josephine Rose Roberts: Honestly? Every night.
Katie WebberHonestly, with my girl Becky over here in the dressing room. It's just pre-show. We put on Fancy by Iggy and just rock out before the show, it's the best.
What is your favorite scene in the show overall?
Constantine: Probably the date scene between Drew and Sherry, Waiting For A Girl. It's just a couple of awkward [cough] 20-somethings, coming together. They're there a little bit, but they just keep missing each other so it's an enjoyable sort of sequence for fans and for us as well.
Josephine Rose Roberts: It would probably be towards the end of the show, when they come to an understanding. It's a great song to sing
Katie WebberI have to say Hold On Littler Girl where I just scream in Sherrie's face.
What do you think makes this show a hit?
Constantine: I mean, there's really a few really key ingridiants. Ya know, the poop jokes, and the White Snake songs are huge, along with the Journey and Bon Jovi and such, but ya know, it's beyond that. It's really a great book by Chris D'Arienzo, great direction. There have been many juke-box musicals with much bigger songs that have failed miserably, and there's something about this that really touches people. It's nostalgic. They root for Drew. They root for Sherry. There's a heartful, great message underneath all of that maniacal comedy. That's what it's really about. It's opened Broadway up to a whole new generation, brought this music back to pop culture and brought a new audience to Broadway as well.
Josephine Rose Roberts: I think we've helped people remember the good times, especially in their lives. The music takes them back to particular moments that they've had that they always want to go back to and by the time they get to Don't Stop Believing, you honestly believe that there's still goodness and fun, and to watch people remember that is the best part.
Katie Webber: The songs, the music, the energy.
What is your favorite 80's rock band?
Constantine: Bon Jovi
Josephine Rose Roberts: Well, Pink Floyd but they're kind of before... all of them! They're the best.
Katie Webber: I feel like I have to say Twisted Sister
What do you want future audiences to know about the show?
Constantine: I think that the show is so well crafted. Whether I'm in it or not, it keeps working. Not many shows can say they've been on Broadway for six years unless you're Wicked or Lion King or something like that, which are once in a lifetime type of shows. For me I think it's a little sassy for kids probably under 13 or 14, but it's a lot of fun, it's a great family show. We see generations of grandparents, parents, and kids that have all sort of grown up on this catalogue of music and really connected to the characters. Just come, have fun, have a couple drinks, bring your friends. It's a show that if you're trying to figure out what you want to see in New York, you just know you can come to this and have a great time
Josephine Rose Roberts: You might have some downs, or you're not sure, you want to see a "real musical" or you don't and you just want to have a good time... the reason we're so successful is that it all comes together in the show for a unique experience that EVERYONE will love. We've had kids there, and it'll be their first introduction to rock music, and then their parents who grew up on it. Everyone has a good time and whole generations are getting to hear good music but also there's this amazing story that happens. You know, having a dream and thinking "maybe this won't work out this way," and we can all relate to that, but then having it kind of work out in the end. It's EVERYTHING put into one.
Katie Webber: That there is absolutely NO QUESTION about it, you're going to have a great time.

Still haven't? Check out their performances HERE, HERE, and HERE. And catch these lovelies LIVE at the Helen Hays theater. I haven't seen it here yet, but I did get to catch it years back at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.

Once at Broadway In Bryant Park

WARNING:
You will fall slowly for Jessie Fisher and Ben Hope if you haven't yet; and you won't be able to go back.

Once.
One word.
Many emotions.

A hit for anyone with a soft side, this show warms your heart and reminds you of how much music affects everything.

Set in Dublin, we meet Guy, a vacuum repair guy. A musician at heart who has begun to give up on music. Insert Girl. Faith restored in a beautiful way.

A subject most teenagers fall into, they become one another's muse while falling slowly for one another.

Small problem? She's still married.

My favorite thing about the show though, most definitely, is the ensemble involvement. Being involved with such a beautiful ensemble on a regular basis (Fordham Prep Drama Society,) I find it really simple to just completely love the ensemble.
The show is one, giant, music-making machine that doesn't have any bad parts.

Lacking complete extravagance, it's a beauty all in its own that could make it more elaborate than Wicked, if only because there is NO SHOW I have ever seen like this.

It will restore your faith, just as it does for Guy, and it will remind you that love does exist. Every song is relatable.
I'm going to point out one song specifically, Leave. It comes before Falling Slowly, no worries. We have all understood the pain behind those words, but the haunting guitar chords that accompany it, make it ONE OF the most memorable songs on the soundtrack. (Though I could say that about every song in the entire show.)

We sat down and spoke to Ben Hope and Jessie Fisher.

Let me just say.

The inter-cast chemistry.

Is.

Simply.

Beautiful.

PRTC: Describe the show in one word.
Jessie Fisher: [Gasp and laughter] In one word!
Ben Hope: Oh, sh*t. [Covers mouth] I'm already cursing and we've said one thing. [Pause] Sh*t is not my answer!
Jessie Fisher: [Laughter] It's about love. Love.
Ben Hope: Music.
PRTC: Describe your character in one word.

Jessie Fisher: Serious...ly funny. [Laughter]
Ben Hope: [Catches Jessie's eye and bursts into laughter. Points at her] Cheater! [Laughter] Uh.... Stopped.
PRTC: Describe your overall experience working on the show in one word.
Jessie Fisher: Amazing!
Ben Hope: Life-changing.
PRTC: What is your favorite scene in the show?
Jessie Fisher: I like the scene on the-
Ben Hope: Oh yeah, on the hill.
PRTC: What has been your favorite memory since joining the cast?
Ben Hope: Oh I have a good one actually!
Jessie Fisher: Go ahead
Ben Hope: Last Sunday, we did the show together, and it was like my favorite show that I've ever done. That one single moment is my favorite memory.
Jessie Fisher: [Smiling] That's my favorite too.
Ben Hope: [Laughs and playfully pushes Jessie. The two laugh.] Fair enough.
PRTC: If you can, describe one another in one word. [I omit typing the cuteness that came before this cuteness. You can see it in the video]
Jessie Fisher: You're my best friend!
Ben Hope: Yeah, totally! Bestie.
Jessie Fisher: Bestie?
Ben Hope: Totally [Laughter]
PRTC: What do you think is the best thing about the show?
Jessie Fisher: It doesn't have to be in one word?
Ben Hope: Okay, sweet. [Laughter]
Jessie Fisher: There's no musical like this on Broadway. It's simple and honest and heartfelt. The music's amazing. Everyone plays their own instruments. There's nothing like this show.
Ben Hope: Yeah! If I was going to do it in one word, I would say ensemble... It's just the energy... It's been really good and all those people in there are making some serious magic.

PRTC: There is no known name for Guy and Girl. I think that really keeps the magic going. (And not in a Johanna doesn't know Antony's name way.) After a small bit of discussion with our videographer (Kelly Price) we got to the next question for all of you. What do they want future audiences to know?
Jessie Fisher: This show is going to be running all over the world. It's gonna be in Australia, Korea, Brazil, Canada... They're hoping to add France and Amsterdam. So there's something special about that. It's a world show. It speaks to everybody
Ben Hope: Yeah, it does.

Be sure to check out this pair in action! They're just amazing. Check out their performance Here and Here

Heathers at 106.7 Lite FM's Broadway In Bryant Park was SO VERY!

Well, FMGWAC! Yesterday, PRTC got to witness the absolute rip your seams laughing and cry your eyes out beauty that is Heathers: The Musical at both BWBP as well as last night at the New World Stage. From realistic numbers like Beautiful, to the quirky numbers like My Dead Gay Son, Shine A Light, Blue and Freeze Your Brain to songs that you feel, like Seventeen, Lifeboat, Meant To Be Yours and Kindergarten Boyfriend, there is a bit of every emotion in here.
(If you don't feel during Lifeboat or Meant To Be Yours I'm not sure what will make you feel.)

Every high schooler I've met who has seen this show, has connected, laughed, cried, and related.

If you haven't yet you've gotta motor to see Heathers before it closes on August 4th! The cast is full of talent. In all honesty, I don't think I've seen such a myriad of inter-cast love, on-stage talent, on-point costumes, or complete reality from a comedy musical, so color me impressed. This show is NOT going to be a High School Has Been any time soon. Heathers fans, referred to as Corn-Nuts, are by far one of the most dedicated fansicals out there. (Including my lovely group which came in costume to BIBP.)

In all honesty, I can say so much about each member of the cast, almost like never before, about how dazzling this cast is. They're Big Fun, and really do know how to Shine a Light. I really am almost as a loss for words. PLEASE! Do run and see the show! It's worth it beyond belief.  Check out how Very the cast is below!

PRTC: Describe the show in one word
Lauren Cipoletti (New Wave Party Girl): [Laughter] Damage.
Jessica Keenan Wynn (Heather Chandler): Very.
Dustin Sullivan (Beleaguered Geek): Surprising.
Rachel Flynn (Stoner Chick): Oh gosh! Hopeful.
Cait Fairbanks (Young Republicanette): Sassy
Dave Thomas Brown (J.D.): Very

PRTC: Describe your character in one word
Lauren Cipoletti (New Wave Party Girl): Goth
Jessica Keenan Wynn (Heather Chandler): Mythic
Rachel Flynn (Stoner Chick): [Laughter and pondering] I don't want to say hopeful. Lonely! [Laughter] Yeah, backstory!
Dustin Sullivan (Beleaguered Geek): It's, it's right there. How could it be anything but beleaguered.
Cait Fairbanks (Young Republicanette): I play the Young Republicanette, and I'm also the understudy for Veronica, Heather Duke and Heather McNamara.
Dave Thomas Brown (J.D.): Maniacal.

PRTC: What is your favorite scene in the show?
Lauren Cipoletti (New Wave Party Girl): Shine a Light
Jessica Keenan Wynn: F*ck me gently with a chainsaw
Rachel Flynn (Stoner Chick): Pep Rally.
Dustin Sullivan (Beleaguered Geek): Uhhhh
Rachel Flynn (Stoner Chick): Wait! You can have the pep rally if you want,  I changed my mind [Laugher]
Dustin Sullivan (Beleaguered Geek): No, you can have the Pep Rally. This side of my brain is freezing!
Rachel Flynn (Stoner Chick): You're doing great
Dustin Sullivan (Beleaguered Geek): The scene with Seventeen.
Cait Fairbanks (Young Republicanette): The breakup scene actually. I don't know why, I just really like that scene actually. I don't know, I just really like it.
Dave Thomas Brown (J.D.): Meant To Be Yours

PRTC: What is your favorite memory since joining the cast?
Lauren Cipoletti (New Wave Party Girl): [Laughter] The first time going on and having this circle we do before every show and we get to say something good and it's fun to be a part of that and actually go on afterwards.
Jessica Keenan Wynn: Laughing on the benches with Kurt and Ram during Dead Gay Son.
Rachel Flynn (Stoner Chick): We threw a homecoming! That was the best. We didn't know each other, but we decided to throw a high school homecoming party. It was awesome.
Dustin Sullivan (Beleaguered Geek): First day is always kind of a magical thing.
Cait Fairbanks (Young Republicanette): Probably the first day when I met everyone from the New York cast because I had been part of the LA cast, so meeting everyone for the first time and seeing who would be playing who was definitely amazing and one of my favorite memories.Everyone is very nice.
Dave Thomas Brown (J.D.): This might become one of my favorite memories

PRTC: Favorite song to perform?
Lauren Cipoletti (New Wave Party Girl): Big Fun
Jessica Keenan Wynn: Me Inside of Me
Rachel Flynn (Stoner Chick): Candy Store.
Dustin Sullivan (Beleaguered Geek): Probably doing the freeze stuff during the holy sh*t part of Fight For Me.
Cait Fairbanks (Young Republicanette): Probably the Finale, I like the finale a lot.
Dave Thomas Brown (J.D.): Meant To Be Yours

PRTC: Favorite Slurpee Flavor?
Lauren Cipoletti (New Wave Party Girl): [Laughter] Coca Cola because it melts and it's still the same.
Jessica Keenan Wynn: None. I actually don't drink Slurpees. I'm a vegan and a health nut.
Rachel Flynn (Stoner Chick): Coke.
Dustin Sullivan (Beleaguered Geek): [Whispers] I've never had a slurpee. Don't tell anyone
Rachel Flynn (Stoner Chick): [Laughter] You're fired.
Cait Fairbanks (Young Republicanette): OOO! The Mountain Dew one. The mountain dew one is really great.
Dave Thomas Brown (J.D.): Pina Colada and Coca Cola.

PRTC: What do you like about the musical that wasn't in the movie?
Lauren Cipoletti (New Wave Party Girl): [Laughter] The music.
Jessica Keenan Wynn: Music
Rachel Flynn (Stoner Chick): Martha's character. She's in the movie, but she's combined with a bunch of other characters and I love that friendship a lot.
Dustin Sullivan (Beleaguered Geek): All the times that JD gets to sing stuff, he gets to express things he doesn't get to express at all in the movie.
Cait Fairbanks (Young Republicanette): I like the new relationship with her parents because now the parents actually play a little bit of a role, while the parents are kind of checked out in the movie.
Dave Thomas Brown (J.D.): It's happier, it's more hopeful.

PRTC: Are there any similarities between you and your character?
Lauren Cipoletti (New Wave Party Girl): [Laughter] I was kind of weird in high school and I was into punk-stuff
Jessica Keenan Wynn: She's very particular about her hair.
Rachel Flynn (Stoner Chick): [Laughter] I was much more straight-laced than Stoner Chick in high school. I would NOT have been allowed to wear that to school or indulge in any of those activities at all
Dustin Sullivan (Beleaguered Geek): Very poor fashion sense.
Cait Fairbanks (Young Republicanette): Well, I actually got to make up my own character, so she's very much like me, very quirky.
Dave Thomas Brown (J.D.): Yeah! I'm angsty, I've got problems. We just handle those in different ways

PRTC: And is there anything you want audiences to know about the show before it closes?
Lauren Cipoletti (New Wave Party Girl): Like us on Facebook! [Laughter]
Jessica Keenan Wynn: Come see it before Monday. It's so very you'll never forget it.
Rachel Flynn (Stoner Chick): It's not a bleak show. It's not the dark show you think it is. [Around here, a fan came over again to talk to Rachel and she lost her place]
Dustin Sullivan (Beleaguered Geek): This cast is the coolest cast. The nicest cast.
Rachel Flynn (Stoner Chick): The nicest cast.
Cait Fairbanks (Young Republicanette): It's not just a fun show. There's a lot of things going on underneath the surface that are important, but also about all the ridiculous-ness that might offend some people, have some meaning. It's not just there to insult you or make you scared, it's actually there for a reason.
Dave Thomas Brown (J.D.): Support live theater. Pause your Netflix and see more live theater

In all honesty, I couldn't agree more with Rachel and Dustin's depiction of the cast! The cast is such a beautiful, fun loving, and talented cast. I highly recommend watching this entire cast, because they ARE going somewhere. The cast is unbelievably talented and I could see the next Nathan Lane and Patti LuPone's coming through in this group. With unmatchable talent and comedy, if you can, run your bum down to the New Worlds Stage right now and catch one of the last performances.

As a special treat, the video edition of this interview with Dave Thomas Brown will be posted soon. I chose to share this one with you guys because you get to see the oh so Very cast in the background making some great faces.

So go out, grab a Slurpee, freeze your brain, and PLEASE go catch this spectacle for the ages at the New World Stage. It's unbelievably important.

Catch Ya Later Corn-Nuts and Theater Lovers a-like,
-Celeste

Move into Avenue Q at 106.7's Broadway In Bryant Park

The sun was shining, it was a lovely day, a perfect morning for a kid to play, but you had lots of bills to pay. What can you do? You were working really hard, and the pay's real low, and every hour went oh so slow, and at the end of the day, you had nowhere to go but home to Avenue Q. Well on Thursday, you could have come see Darren Bluestone, Sala Iwamatsu, Jason Jacoby, Victoria Kuehn perform hits from their show. While they diddn't teach us what the internet was for, or what to do with a BA in English, they did talk to us about "The More You Luv Someone", " There's a Fine Fine Line" and talked to audiences about how it'd be ok "If You Were Gay." (Basically the more appropriate numbers.) And yes, there were puppets.

I had the opportunity to see this hilarious puppet therapy session/sex party/life evaluation/mood booster/reality bringer/burst your seems laughing/musical of the century. From the time I met them backstage, as well as the time I got to interview them this Thursday, I could tell you, the sense of love and family you see on stage, comes through in the cast. They are just as funny off-stage, and definitely care for one another and those around them. The chemistry comes through to all those present, from age 5 to 498 (rumored to be the number of seats in the theater, I just couldn't resist)

But truly the show and cast come together and bring a true spectacle that no audience member will forget (but I recommend over 13 to see the show because it does indeed have many mature references.) And for those who wonder, Lucy is anatomically correct, just incase the puppets weren't as much of a spectacle as they already are.

While you won't get a "Mixtape" from the cast member that leaves you wondering how they feel, you will probably get a hug from a puppet (person? It's hard to verbalize,) and you will understand the love that they feed to everyone around them.

PRTC: Describe Avenue Q in 1 word.
Darren Buestone (Princeton/Rod)[Long Pause and laughter] Puppets!
Sala Iwamatsu (Christmas Eve): Difficult.
Jason Jacoby (Nicky/Trekkie Monster/Bear/Others): [Laughter] Hilarious.
Victoria Kuehn (Kate Monster/Lucy The Slut): Mnnnnnnnyyyyaaaaahhhh. True.
Mary Faber (Many Many characters): ahhH! oh god, I don't just want to say fun because that seems lame. Maybe, uh, irreverent. [Laughter]

PRTC: Describe your character(s) in 1 word.
Darren Buestone: For Princeton it would be Innocence and Rod would be closet-ed
Sala Iwamatsu: Fantastic! [Laughter]
Jason Jacoby:  Dirty
Victoria Kuehn: Heart and Sass
Mary Faber: Oh god I play a bunch, so I guess I'll say, mad-cap [Laughter]

PRTC: What is your favorite scene to perform?
Darren Buestone: Loud as the hell you want
Sala Iwamatsu: Hmmmm.... It's the therapy scene with Rod
Jason Jacoby: If You Were Gay
Victoria Kuehn: Right now, I really like doing Special in the Café with Lucy
Mary Faber: Right now, If You Were Gay. Changes though.

PRTC:  Funniest on-stage moment?
Darren Buestone: Uh, Loud as the hell you want. [More Laughter]
Sala Iwamatsu: It's only when someone messes up of course [Laughter]
Jason Jacoby: I get to point at someone in the audience during The Internet is For Porn and their reaction is always the best.
Victoria Kuehn: The other night there was this earthquake sort of sound cue that was going on for far too long so we sort of had to acknowledge it because the audience obviously knew something was going on, but everybody laughed
Mary Faber: Once, one of the Blue Bear's eyeballs fell off during a scene and it was very difficult not to laugh, in fact I did laugh during that.

PRTC: Favorite moment you've spent with your cast so far?
Darren Buestone: I feel like our tenth anniversary. It felt like another opening of the entire show, so it was cool! We had so many of the original people come back and original creative team come back, and had a great party so it really felt like we had 'opened' the show again.
Sala Iwamatsu: Uhm... Before the show we have a ritual where we all put our hands together and do one of those where you say a word or something like that and it's a bonding moment before we all sing together.
Jason Jacoby: I think the anniversary last year, the 10 year anniversary
Victoria Kuehn: The 10th anniversary last year was pretty special. It was amazing to be part of the show and then all the alumni were coming to visit and so, ya know, it's pretty cool
Mary Faber: I think singing For Now with them because it's such a great song and it's a great moment for us all to connect.

PRTC: What do you think makes this show a hit?
Darren Buestone: It's so remarkably well written that every moment you're like "That's so true! That's absolutely my life!
Sala Iwamatsu: The heart.....and the puppets.
Jason Jacoby: It's relevant, and accesible and really really well written and unbelievably funny.
Victoria Kuehn: The amount of heart that matches the humor. Obviously it's very funny, but every subject they're talking about is so true and heartfelt that everyone can relate to it.
Mary Faber: I think it's not just a dirty, funny puppet show, it actually has great heart, and all the songs and lessons you learn from it actually apply to everyone, so I think it's really a brilliantly written show.

PRTC: What is your favorite scene in the show?
Darren Buestone: For Now. I think that's the most poignant and it really ties the whole show together and it's my favorite one to do. I think that audiences, after seeing hysterical puppets for 2 hours, they're all of a sudden like "Oh wow, this has heart."
Sala Iwamatsu: It's one I'm not in, it's Purpose.
Jason Jacoby I must say If you Were Gay, the first scene I did with Nikky and Rod.
Victoria Kuehn: I always cry at For Now. I love For Now. It's definitely tiring because it's the final song in the show but it really hits home for us.
Mary Faber: I think Purpose.

Again I hope to get to see you all TOMORROW at Broadway In Bryant Park!

The Phantom Of The Opera attends the Masquerade at 106.7 LITES FM's Broadway In Bryant Park 2014 and 15 Things The Musical Taught Us All

On Thursday, the audience was also able to witness another timeless classic.

The Phantom Of The Opera

Anyone who knows me knows that Phantom has been one of my all time favorite shows since age 5. I grew up listening to it, singing it, and adoring it. It is simply one of the most entrancing shows to ever come to Broadway.
Externally a show about a man who falls in love with a young, beautiful chorus girl, the show has come to teach us all many things.

1. To the world you may be one person, but to one person, you may be the world
2. Sometimes you have to break down someone's walls and take off their mask to see who they truly are
3. Listen to the Music of the Night
4. Those who speak of what they know, find too late that prudent silence is wise.
5. Always leave Box 5 open
6. Don't believe the voice coming from behind your mirror when he tells you he's an angel
7. Let daylight dry your tears
8. Outcasts need love too
9. We're past the point of no return
10. When attracted to darkness, the senses abandon their defenses
11. Be wary of falling chandeliers
12. Someone who may seem cruel, and a monster, may just be dying for the smallest bit of sympathy and love
13. Keep your hand at the level of your eyes
14. After too many years fighting back tears, sometimes the past won't die
15. The Phantom Of The Opera is there inside my mind

Some people tend to believe that you can just watch the movie and appreciate the show entirely, and to this I strongly disagree. If you physically cannot get to see the show, you can find the 25th Anniversary with Sierra which is positively fantastic.

Phantom is by far one of the intricate shows on Broadway right now (and is also the longest running show on broadway). Some people fail to realize that Mr. Webber wrote the show around a book from all the way back by Leroux called  Le Fantôme de l’Opéra, which was written about the strange events that came to pass in the Paris Opera house in the 1880s (which in itself is a maze of passageways.)

I had the opportunity to meet and talk with Jeremy Stolle (Who performed as The Phantom, and is typically Passarino, as well as the u/s for Raoul, Phantom AND Piangi), Jeremy Hays (who performed as Raoul) and Mary Michaela Patterson (Christine) before they performed the hits "The Phantom Of The Opera," "All I Ask Of You," and "Music Of The Night." (Which just so happen to be my favorite songs from the show.)

PRTC: Describe your overall experience working on Phantom.
Mary Patterson: Amazing. It's been one of the greatest years of my life.
Jeremy Stolle: [Laughter] Epic. It's hard. It's a dream. It's really cool to do every night.
Jeremy Hays: Ah! It has been absolutely fantastic. It is a building full of very talented people and we have a great time every night.

PRTC: What has been your favorite moment spent with your cast mates?
Mary Patterson: I love our preshow. Jeremy always comes in to chat before the show to just catch up and be people off the stage and that's one of my favorite moments.
Jeremy Stolle: Definitely backstage, doing social media shenanigans, it's a sweet time.
Jeremy Hays: I would say every time we get together for a birthday or for someone... We always have a blast. It's always a good show

PRTC: What is your favorite scene to perform?
Mary Patterson: Right now it's Don Juan
Jeremy Stolle: Final Lair
Jeremy Hays: Final Lair is definitely my favorite scene

PRTC: What's the hardest song to perform?
Mary Patterson: Think Of Me
Jeremy Stolle:  Music Of The Night
Jeremy Hays: Oooo, the Final Lair

PRTC: Does Christine belong with Raoul or Erik?
Mary Patterson: She belongs with Raoul, because that's, ya know, the way it's written and that's the way it's supposed to be, but there would be an argument for her being with the Phantom
Jeremy Stolle: [Laughter] Ya know, Christine belongs by herself, she's got some more learning to do
Jeremy Hays: Raoul! Of course!

PRTC: Describe The Phantom Of The Opera in 1 word.
Mary Patterson: Timeless
Jeremy Stolle: Misunderstood.
Jeremy Hays: Love

PRTC: Describe your experience with your cast in 1 word
Mary Patterson: Hilarious [Laughter]
Jeremy Stolle: Epic.
Jeremy Hays: Wonderful

Jeremy also wants future audiences to know that "It's a love story, but it's a complicated love story."

PRTC was shocked to find that no one in the cast had seen Love Never Dies! If you haven't yet, we highly recommend it, seeing as it's a continuation of the classic with QUITE a twist, and takes place here in our beautiful New York!

I again hope to see all you lovelies next week in Bryant Park! If you see me, please swing by and say hello!
